I will put my hands up and admit I was underwhelmed with his appointment in the summer,
but he is slowly turning me around with his managerial nouse and putting his stamp on this team.
I know it is still early days and many more games to play, but as Beale said last night nobody
is getting too excited at the moment. But it must be said, this team has already won some
very difficult games on the road this season.
The changes he made late in the game with the score level, really gave us the impetus to
push on and go for a winning goal albeit a penalty. I really like the idea he has, of recruiting
young players with a hunger to succeed or a point to prove.
The one thing that has to be said of Beale, is that he an eye for a player and that has
benefited us this season.
Re: Well done Mick Beale
We are much better organised under Mick Beale than Mark Warburton. Yep well done and a surprise to me too.
Last night. Hooray and all is right with the world
Justice! Better team! Reading?? Philistine football.

Told from some of those watching on Sky that there was a blatant handball in the
1st half at the School End, then in front of me after the break, they amazingly
got away with another one when the ball hit an outstretched arm close to the goal-line!!!!!
And Andy Carroll really should have been sent off for that awful lunge!!!
So pleased for Lyndon getting on the score-sheet with that diving header &
his very cool spot kick near the end.
Great atmosphere, there were times when sections of 3 sides of the ground
were singing in unison.
Well done everyone....

Re: Well done Mick Beale
Priceless!

I am walking round Reading town centre, wearing the Hoops.
The real Hoops, of course.

Listened to the game live on BBC Radio Berkshire, and even the 2 totally
biased, pro-Reading commentators agreed, we were the better team.
Which, coming from them, is high praise indeed.

They even agreed with Steve R. about the handball!
