Does anyone remember the 63/64 season when we played at the White City?
It was a little time before that when five of us went up to Peterborough to see the R's.

We had an old Humber that we bought between us. It was pissing with rain all the way.
When we got there, the game was postponed, waterlogged. Not having a radio in the car,
we weren't to know.

Anyway, on the way back (still raining) we smelt smoke. We stopped, opened the bonnet and saw the
flames, up it went. Must have got water on the electrics.

We ended up splitting up and hitch hiking back to London/Notting Hill.
