Alfie Tuck Signs his 1st Pro-Contract...

Post by Steve Russell »

Good news from the Club...

YOUNG midfielder Alfie Tuck has signed his first professional contract with QPR.
The Wales youth international, 18, has been with Rangers since the age of nine.

During the 2023/24 season, Alfie - who began the campaign with the Under-18s - became a regular
#for the Development Squad, and was even named on the bench for the first team's FA Cup tie with
Bournemouth in January.

"This is a proud moment for me and my family," Tuck told www.qpr.co.uk. "I'm grateful for everyone who
has contributed to my journey. Alex Carroll (academy director) has made me feel like one of his own.

"Now I definitely want to push for both first-team football and further international honours.

"I want prove myself and make a first team appearance next season - that's my aim."

Talented central midfielder Alfie’s assets include his range of passing and composure on the ball.

"I can't wait to get started in pre-season," he added. "This feels like a milestone moment in my career but it's
only the beginning.

"I know what I need to do to get to the next level. QPR means everything to me and to play for the first team at
Loftus Road would be a dream come true."

QPR CEO Christian Nourry continued: "I am particularly pleased that Alfie and the football club have taken this
next step together.

"Alfie has a number of core attributes to become an all-action #6 for the modern era.

"We'll be keeping a close eye on his physical and technical development as a key member of our Development
Squad going forward."
