IMO, it's going to be tough.
Our displays against Spurs, Fulham & Reading have exposed our weaknesses & lack of strengths.
Mainly in the goal department -we didn't score once against those 3 teams.
Spurs looked like they were asleep in the 1st half, if we'd taken our chances it would have been a totally different game.
But we didn't.
I missed the Fulham game, but I was at Reading, and again we looked OK, but just couldn't score.
Although I will say we'd have been a lot better if Chair had been playing - anybody know why he didn't?
Will he be available for the West Brom game??
We've got some decent enough players, but they can't score between them -
and it's all very well saying "we need a 20 goal a season man" but those players are hard to find (for the money we've got),
unless some of the players we've got can step up & contribute a few goals each, we are going to struggle.
Sorry to be all doom and gloom, and you know I'm usually a lot more positive;
but on those 3 displays, I can't see much to be positive about.
And yes, I know 'they were only friendlies' etc - but a few decent displays would have been good for morale.
The players' and ours.
Can anyone find any positives to cheer me up?? I'd be happy to be proved wrong!
