This fixture was played at the Chorley fc stadium. Victory Park.

The playing surface was in excellent condition considering the massive amount of rain we have had in the area
since late Friday night. Storm Bert!

I have to say we were never really in the game until Preston went down to 10 men following a sending off for a second
yellow in the 55th minute. There was no threat at all from us going forward. Preston had majority possession and
produced a number shots but fortunately for the R's only a few were on target.

It was 0-0 at Half time and frankly the prospects were not looking good. Then the QPR 11 versus the Preston 10 completely
changed the situation. Murphy scored with a penalty. Our first shot on target. Victory was subsequently sealed with a well
#taken goal by Ridwan Hassan in the closing stages.

This was a very young QPR team in general so it must sometimes prove difficult in contests up against more experienced
players

Thanks for the report Bernard & for the updates last night.

Ridwan Hassan is still only 16, well done to him & the team.

Good to hear that you got your bus connections back after ok
& that you weren't too late having your cocoa :( :D

Yep indoors quite early really. Enough time to relax and enjoy milk and a chicken sandwich
before bedtime.

Shame that I had an ensuing awful nightmare about the forthcoming first team fixture at Cardiff ;)
