From the Club....
'QPR are delighted to confirm Ben Williams has returned to the football club in a full-time capacity.
Williams initially joined the club two years ago, overseeing the club’s sports science, medical, physiotherapy
and nutrition departments as our Director of Performance.
In his first season with QPR, the highly-respected Williams set the foundations and standards in place which
led to exceptional player availability across 2023/24.
The 2024/25 season saw him operating in a consultancy capacity focussing on wider club projects.
He now returns to the club and his position has evolved as part of a restructure that sees him take up a role as
Director of Sporting Operations.
Williams’ new position will see him continue his previous areas of responsibility, as well as overseeing club-wide
performance operations, logistics and infrastructure projects.
He has previously worked with renowned cycling team INEOS Grenadiers and British Americas Cup Challenger,
INEOS Britannia, as well as French Ligue 1 outfit OGC Nice, Red Bull and the Brooklyn Nets in the NBA.
Williams said: “I'm hugely proud to continue this journey with a club that not only has a rich history but is also
building with clear ambition — an exciting and sustainable future that every supporter can be proud of.
“It’s a privilege to work with this talented young squad and a dedicated staff who are all driven by performance,
innovation, and doing things the right way for the badge that means so much to so many.
“The hard work continues, and I can’t wait to kick off the new season with you R’s behind us.”
CEO Christian Nourry said: “I’m delighted Ben is in a position to return to the football club in a full-time capacity."
“In a sport and a league that is becoming more competitive than ever, this role will allow Ben to continue to oversee
our sports science and medical departments whilst also strategising on how we can put our staff and athletes in the
best possible conditions to succeed by curating and maintaining a high-performance environment at our TSG Training
Centre and MATRADE Loftus Road."
“Ben will also have an eye on the medium term in supporting the design of infrastructure projects that the club may
wish to embark upon.”

Is this the bloke who was based in the Middle East?
Can't say I blame him for getting out, before the missiles start flying.
