'HEVERTTON Santos has joined Gil Vicente on an initial loan.
The 24-year-old defender will stay with the Portuguese top-flight side for the duration of the 2025/26 season.
Santos signed for the R’s last summer after leaving Estrela da Amadora in the Primeira Liga. He has made nine
outings
for QPR to date, scoring against Luton Town in the Carabao Cup.
In January, he joined Vitória SC on loan for the second half of the 2024/25 campaign, where he made eight
appearances.
Gil Vicente finished 13th in the league last year.'

Why buy a player, just to loan him out??
And if he's good enough for the Portuguese top flight, isn't he good enough for the Championship???
OK, I'm sure these clubs cover his wages, but there's still the fee to consider.
