So we had our first pre-season friendly against Slavia Prague, Jake Clarke-Salter leaves the field after 17 minutes
(yes 17 minutes) injured again. This player has been an absolute liability from the day he joined the club, another
dud recruited by an inept and now departed DOF.
Clarke-Salter played 16 games last season and spent so much time in the treatment room, I know it is very
early days but it looks like he’s gonna have another season like the last. Another poor decision was to award an
injury prone player like Clarke-Salter a 4 year contract, our club will be forever more struggling when we recruit players
like Clarke-Salter, Hammalainen and Taylor-Richards.
These players should never have been brought to the club, they are a drain on the resources of QPR.
Another long season awaits us looking at yesterday.
