Cardiff

1 - 0 up half time.
Smyth cross for Armstrong to tap in his first Rs goal.
QPR with better of the play - albeit that Cardiff are not showing themselves to be the threat that Watford were.
Begovic looking good.

Sinclair turned supplier to Paal to make it 2 -0.
Cardiff came back with a soft goal on 77 to make an intense finish.
Cardiff stepped up the pressure for the remainder of the 90 plus an extra 10.
Hoops weathered the pressure to hang on to the win.
Cardiff consolation was their 2-0 win of today’s crossbar challenge.
Gareth will be well happy with todays 3 points and much to be happy about in comparison to last week’s showing.

Eleven added minutes in the end I think

Massive 3 points is an understatement :D
Thanks Conor...

Fingers crossed Sinclair is ok...

Be interesting to see what sort of team Gareth puts out on Wednesday?

Apparently Smyth and Armstrong had cramp. Hopefully more game time will help in that respect.

Yes - cramp was a feature in the game - kicking in around 70-odd minutes. Is this an indicator that squad fitness
is not where it needs to be? Or an indicator of who was working hardest throughout the game?

With the new injury time impact bringing matches to over 100 minutes in total, this season may really be a case of
survival of the fittest.

There was plenty to line during the Cardiff game although we did tire much more than Cardiff in the latter stages
and were lucky that the two crossbar shots by Cardiff didn’t do us damage. We were great for 70-odd minutes and a
more potent outfit may have hurt us more during the final quarter of the game.

Hoping that GA at the helm works out and that he can help us to build. The latest transfer targets of Colback, Cook
and Potentially Batth resonate as having similar characteristics to GA the player- fan favourites with a rep for giving their all
and with leadership strengths. If recruiting and developing these types, we will be interesting to watch.

I think in the case of Paul Smyth its been a slow process getting him ready.

Good to see that a couple of youngsters travelled with the 1st team squad.

What a difference a week makes!
Last week, we're doomed; this week, we're 3 points off the top.
