Yes Steve an old dinosaur like me would qualify for that discount but it would still be over £20 in the Stan Bowles stand. Not that I would even consider going!
For over 22 years now in these early rounds of the FA Cup there are farcical team selections and weak teams fielded amongst the Premiership and Championship Clubs and fair enough why should QPR and Bournemouth be any different? All football supporters know this.
The question here.....Is the "product" worth the price. In my view certainly not. Adult non season ticket holders should only be charged a maximum of £15 for this fixture and even at that entrance fee the attendance would be low.

You're right, there's no magic in the FA Cup any more. Because there's no money in the FA Cup.
Ok, attendance fees will help, but with so many Championship clubs focused on promotion
(to the promised land ) and so many Prem clubs focused on avoiding the drop,
nobody takes the Cup seriously any more.
Mind you, an adventurous club could take a chance, go for a decent Cup run....
maybe claiming a few bigger clubs'* scalp would give the players a morale boost??

we've failed to keep up over the years
Let me take this opportunity to illustrate from recent football history......
Wigan win the FA Cup and receive 8 million pounds for doing so and at the same time they were
relegated from the Premier League and lost out on 90 million pounds!
To quote from a Monty Python sketch..... say no more squire....Say no more
The perfect example, Bernard.
And 3 points for a win makes promotion and relegation that much more likely,
should a team go on either a good or bad run.
Therefore, they don't want to take their eye of the ball, by going on a long cup run.

Although you can be sure that Watford will field a second string side Non League Chesterfield will show
respect(like all lower league and non league clubs) and certainly turn out their strongest FIRST TEAM possible
