Good Luck Sinclair.....

Post by Steve Russell »

His departure to Bristol City (for £2m with a percentage going to his former club?) now confirmed by the Club.

Despite his lack of goals (still have that one at Leicester in my minds eye & what should have been a hat-trick
for the U23s v West Brom) there was still a buzz from 'R' & 'Q' Block etc when he came on.

Still only 21, I wish him all the best for the future.

'SINCLAIR Armstrong has joined Bristol City, completing a permanent move to Ashton Gate for an undisclosed fee.
The 21-year-old striker came to QPR in October 2020 from Shamrock Rovers, initially joining our Under-18s.

Armstrong spent three months on loan at Torquay United and a month with Aldershot as part of his development
during the 2021/22 campaign before making his Rangers debut against Blackburn Rovers on the opening day of the
2022/23 season.

Armstrong made 64 appearances in total for the R’s, scoring four goals.

The club thanks Sinclair for his efforts during his time in W12 and wishes him every success for the future.

CEO Christian Nourry said: “I would firstly like to thank Sincs for all his hard work and best endeavours during the
time I have been here, and before.

“He is a first-class individual with a keen hunger to develop himself.

“While I wish him well and believe he has a bright future ahead of him, it is important that we do our best to protect
the economic interests of the football club.

“This can be accomplished through contract extensions or, where that is not possible, selling a player at the appropriate
time.

“The reality of football is that this is often difficult to achieve but it will always be my aim.”
