Tottenham Today....

Post by Steve Russell »

Sell out crowd with part of the Paddock sealed off?

I thought Rayan Kolli was superb 1st half, some nice touches & a bullet strike
that was put over by the keeper.

We certainly have a top keeper, Paul Nardi made a point-blank stop in the 1st half
& he went on to make 3 or 4 more ex saves.

Have to say their 1st goal after 40 odd mins came from a bit of individual skill.

2nd half, A Lyndon Dykes header came off the post & their second goal was against
the run of play.

It was all about the performance today & there was much to be pleased with.

QPR: Nardi, Dunne (Cannon 70), Cook (Morrison 66), Clarke-Salter (Fox 66), Paal (Larkeche 66),
Colback (Tuck 70), Dixon-Bonner (Talla 70), Smyth (Lloyd 70), Anderson (Bennie 70), Kolli (Santos 46),
Frey (Dykes 66).

Subs not used: Walsh.

Hi Steve.

Thanks for the report.

With Field, Celar and Chair to be included, I think that it is reasonable to assume that Rangers will enjoy a
reasonably successful season. But this is QPR that we are discussing!!

I hope that Chairs omission is not a prelude to him discussing his future with another club, and we all know that Field
has been nursing a muscle injury. As for Celar, it was far too early for him to be included.

So far so good :)

Thought we played well 1st half, if only we had put our chances away, could have nicked it.
Spurs woke up 2nd half, and it was a totally different story.
Still, an encouraging performance overall & with a few players to be added, this season is looking to be a good one.
