0-1 down but the players battled on.
Great scenes when Sam Field smashed the ball into the back of the
net at the Loft End.
It had to be a Rolls Royce performance from Eberechi Eze to make the difference.
He was presented with a framed shirt pre-match.
He set up their first goal & his goal was helped by a deflection. I don't think
he gave the ball away all night.
The programme included a message (extract) from him:
'Wearing the blue & white hoops was a honour & its where I truly
found myself as a player.
This club played a massive role in shaping who I am today & for
that, I'll always be thankful.'
Attendance was 13,945 & fantastic support from the R's fans.

Re: Last Night v Palace...
Palace were definitely the better team - but only just.
And considering we didn't put out our strongest side, we played well.
Palace looked like somewhere between a Top 5 Championship club & a bottom half Prem side;
so not bad, but not brilliant.
I enjoyed the game, we played well.
