In my new found spirit of optimism I feel this game will be a surprise draw or low scoring
win for us!
My new found degree of optimism does not extend to stating that Celar will score that would be
a bridge too far!
All joking aside we do seem to perform better against the better sides so a result will not be a
surprise.
What also helps is that neither Kerrins or myself will be there for the game!

That's at least a point guaranteed!

This is a local fixture for me but after the Portsmouth and Coventry games I am giving the encounter
the Spanish Archer. I prefer the Golf Driving Range instead.
Fingers crossed for a miracle.

Reports indicate that the ball was in our own penalty area for long periods and that we hardly crossed the halfway line.
Never the less we defended well to hang on for an excellent unexpected and precious point.
If we had shown the same defensive resolve in our previous four fixtures we would be a lot higher up the league than we
are now

Exactly as I predicted - thanks to Kerrins & ESSEX.
But did Marti give them a word of thanks in his post-match interview??
Did he heck!

I think it was a USA President of many decades ago who said something along the lines of.........
You can achieve a lot provided you always let someone else take the credit
