I still reckon that Sunderland reduced to 10 men for the last 25 minutes helped us out big time. In modern day
football playing with 10 men for lengthy spells is too difficult. I don't care who you are.

The bottom line here is that we got a point from the leaders and kept a clean sheet for the second consecutive week.
I will take that. We are now defending well. Shame we did not do that earlier on in the season!

Obviously it goes without saying that we need to improve up front

As both team lined-up around the centre-circle, the names of players
from both sides that fell serving that country were read out.

This was followed by 'The Last Post'.

As for the game, I was pleased to see that Rayan Koli is back in the frame.
It was also good to Alex Aoraha included in the squad.

Sunderland didn't impress me very much. even when they had 11 on the pitch.

They did hit the post in the 1st half but other efforts mainly flashed wide of the target.

We dominated possession following the red card but the frustrating thing was all that
knocking the ball around outside the box, with little end product

I do think Marti should have taken off Zan Celar & brought on Rayan Kolli or Alfie Lloyd.
Or even both at the expense of someone else.

On the positive side, the defence did well again & it was a big improvement from the
midfield contingent.
