I was playing football for Sulgrave Boys Club juniors that Saturday.
Remember this was the season where QPR played all their home league fixtures on Friday night so I had
many free Saturday afternoons during 1964/1965 and could play football without missing out too much.
Mind you the R's team of that era was rather mediocre to say the least.
