THE club would like to provide supporters with an update on Steve Cook after the defender was withdrawn
from Saturday’s home win against Preston after 24 minutes.
A scan on Monday morning has confirmed a Plantar Fascia injury. In a positive development, the issue does not
require surgery. At this stage, it is very difficult to provide an accurate timescale in terms of recovery.
Cook will initially undergo a period of rest before being reassessed in the next 10 days.'
