Leicester, Saturday - who's going??
Got my match ticket (£10!) & my train ticket (a bit more than that!)
Just checked the weather, should be dry, but only 2 or 3degrees at kick-off,
better wrap up warm, no country for old men!
;)

I'm not up for it. Even at £10 I would not cross the road to watch Leicester City second string play
the not at full strength QPR!

The early rounds of the FA Cup have been a farce for at least the last 16 years. Only the lower division and
non league clubs care and show respect This is why Premier league and Championship clubs charge very low prices
otherwise there would be hardly any spectators in the ground.

Anyway Good luck and well done to all the R's supporters going.

Me? I Will leave you with two quotes.....Include me out Sam Goldwyn......and Early rounds of the FA Cup my arse
(as Ricky Tomlinson would say)

Well, I'm hoping that Marti will put out a decent side, whereas the Foxes will be 'concentrating
on the Prem' - they need to.
Could be a famous ( & rare) FA Cup win for the Rs. Fingers crossed......

Like I said. Good on you all those Rangers supporters that are travelling. Credit to you.......but don't expect
to see the STRONGEST POSSIBLE R's team line up.

Obviously I hope we win.....but nah this event is not for me.

From the Club....

'AS QPR prepare to take on Leicester City in the FA Cup this weekend, head coach Martí Cifuentes shares the #
QPR fans’ desire to see the club enjoy a run in the competition.

“I want to progress in the cup, I know how important the competition is to the club and in this country,”
he said ahead of Saturday’s third round tie.

While making changes for cup competitions in the early stages is commonplace across the divisions,
Cifuentes is determined to field a side capable of overcoming their Premier League opposition.

“We will take the right steps to be competitive to win as many games as possible,” he said, as the R’s look to
extend their run of one defeat in their last 11.

“I will speak to my players, listen to them and how they feel. You saw last season how important the whole squad
is to me but also the importance of carrying momentum, so we will need to find the right balance between freshness
and carrying on our positive form.”

Steve Cook, Liam Morrison, Kaddie Dembele and Žan Celar remain out, but Cifuentes has been boosted by the recent
returns of Ilias Chair, Jake Clarke-Salter, Jack Colback and Michael Frey.

“In recent weeks we haven’t made many changes as we had more time to recover but changes from the bench have
all made an impact in the games and the strength of our squad will be vitality important as we reach the second half
#of the campaign,” he said.

QPR’s recent run, which has included five home wins in a row, has lifted spirits within the squad, and Cifuentes is keen
#for the mentality of the players to remain strong.

“It is always a balance between confidence to relaxation, but the more confident you are the closer you are to relaxing
and that is a danger,” he explained.

While the R’s are enjoying a good spell of form, the Foxes head into this on the back of five straight defeats which has left
them in the top-flight relegation zone.

“It would be careless to think that the different forms could make a difference,” Cifuentes explained.

“They are a strong side who play in the Premier League with very good players and we have to be wary of that.”
