Good news from the Club..

'ALFIE Lloyd has extended his stay at QPR after signing a new deal with the club.
The 21-year-old forward is enjoying a real breakthrough campaign after initially joining from Yeovil Town
three-and-a-half years ago.

Lloyd made his Rangers debut on the opening day of this season against West Bromwich Albion and has gone
on to make a total of 19 appearances in all competitions to date.

His first goal for the club came in our 1-1 draw at Sheffield Wednesday in September and now Lloyd has his sights
set on more special moments in the blue and white hoops.

“This is the proudest day of my career so far,” he said. “To be able to extend my stay at this great club is a brilliant
feeling.

“I don’t want to get too high about it because it is a continuation of what I have already been doing but I am just
grateful that Christian (Nourry) and the gaffer have given me this opportunity to continue my development here.”

Reflecting on the season so far, Lloyd admitted: “I have definitely exceeded my expectations and long may it continue.

“I have still got so much to work on, so much to improve and a lot of growth to come, but I am just happy, very happy.”

Lloyd has a burning desire to develop, and he is keen to stress that hasn’t been dampened by a new deal.

“I have a relentless pursuit to try and improve myself every day and I hope that the fans will have seen that I have
improved a lot since my debut,” he explained.

“I am in no way the finished article but I am definitely improving every day. I am going to do everything I can to be
the best version of me.

“This is the time now to work harder. No relaxing from me. This is a good milestone to achieve but I want more.”

CEO Christian Nourry said: “Alfie’s on-and-off-pitch energy and effervescence are a secret weapon that the football
club is fortunate to have.

“This new contract is just recompense for his efforts to date but, as he knows, the hard work has only just begun
and he has many more steps to take.

“We are excited to do this together.”
