A quick reminder that the QPR History Day and Memorabilia Fair is taking place on Saturday 22 March at
Loftus Road. It's an international break weekend with England playing Albania at Wembley the night before
and Latvia the following Monday.
There will be stadium tours and a Subbuteo tournament as well as the memorabilia fair. Mark Adolph, the son of
Peter Adolph the inventor of Subbuteo and a life long Rs fan, will be attending and signing copies of his book
"Growing up with Subbuteo". At least 4 other book authors will also be joining us including Alan Dein, Ray Eaton ,
Francis Peacock and QPR club historian Chris Guy
Michael Wale will also be joining us to draw the winning raffle tickets again, as he did at the Memorabilia Fair held
at Loftus Road last April - the first since May 1986. Many thanks to Nick Guoth for his raffle donation.
Thanks also to Martin Botwright and others for their help and advice in staging both this Fair and the 2024 event.
Admission is £2 and 250 limited edition "QPR History Day" badges will also be on sale for £3 per badge. Profits will
go to the 'Extra Time' initiative that the QPR Community Trust started back in 2009 to help bring local 65 years old
plus people together.'
