Overall we were the better side and deserved to win. Great effort determination and team spirit
combined with some decent football. Good news

Just like 4 weeks ago I see play off talk amongst fans is back on the agenda(nothing wrong in that).
Wait a minute though . Hold your horses. Lets look at the big picture.

Taking chances and scoring goals is not obvious in our squads DNA. How many times have we scored 3 goals or
more in a match this season? In numerous games recently chances up front have vanished into the ether
(just like last night) when the opposition should have been buried. I am not being churlish just realistic....
after all bottom of the league in November wonderful progress

The future is looking good under our genius of a manager but we will have to wait a while longer for the really
good times to roll. Next season?

I totally agree, kerrins - we don't want to go up with the current squad, we'd be slaughtered.

I’m sure the powers that be at QPR would disagree with both of you chaps, as money is what it’s all
about and the EPL is the holy grail for all clubs in the Championship.

You only have to look at Ipswich Town this season, they have spent over £100M and are still in the bottom
three and heading for relegation.

How do you define when a club is ready for promotion or not.

Tommy, I'd say ready to go up & stay up, rather than ready to take the £££.

last Season the three clubs that went up to the premier went straight back down.

This current season the same will happen again. Next season ditto bank on it! In the championship this
season name any three clubs you like to get promoted they will be down the following season...unless they
are financial cheats like Notts Forest. The gulf is too massive now.

Anyway as far as the QPR Board are concerned I am sure they would like to go up and take the money and run.
I too would like to see us go up despite the prospect of being thrashed nearly every week but in the clubs present
circumstances and playing squad it is almost certainly a case of dream on

I agree that it will be the financial saving of the club to just spend one season in the Premiership and
with parachute payments as well.
Some clubs do very well being yo-yo clubs.

With several promising youngsters now in the squad there is also the chance of there being big money
bids for some.

One aspect not discussed is the state of the pitch which suddenly looks very threadbare in places.
I was commenting on the state of the Plymouth pitch which was also like it despite having much money
spent on it.

Is it weather related or the way they are now put together with synthetic additions?

I am also convinced the increase in injuries are because of these new pitches.

ESSEX, a number of people on Facebook Rs groups have said that the pitch looked worst on the
Ellerslie Road side, here it's sheltered from the sun by the stand roof, thereby blotting out sunlight for much of
the day.

I think it was the Hull pitch not Plymouth that was poor.
Surely all teams use the portable lights to overcome these situations.
It was being watered well before the game as shown on X and prior to the match and it certainly looked very
wet in pictures of the Ellerslie side. That doesn’t help and maybe cut too short.
