Fighting spirit and determination after being well and truly absent in the last 2 fixtures returned to our game.
We even managed to take advantage of slack Leeds defensive play in the first half and go two goals up.
The second half we were on the back foot and had to encounter much Leeds pressure but we held on and avoided
defeat which prior to kick off did not look on the cards.

Kerrins if you can check out Leeds second goal, you will see how lazy Saito was and how he cost us.
Leeds came down our left flank and their right flank, Saito never tracked his player in fact he made no effort to
chase back.
This was where their equalizer came from, he just doesn’t work hard enough off the ball for the team.
A very good footballer technically, but lazy and in my opinion not up to Championship standard.
Also he can have no complaints about his red card, even though Marti Cifuentes thought it was harsh.
I thought the referee was 100% right with a straight red card.

I probably would have taken a draw pre-match but at 2-0
Was it really an og?
Michael Frey worked his nuts off round the pitch & really needs someone with him.
Leeds dangerous down the flanks & their playmaker was for me Joe Rothwell..
Rayan Kolli will be back for the trip to Stoke, Dembele at No.10?
Thanks to Andy Evans & the Community Dept for my award & looking after
me.

Thanks Bill. It was this mate...
'THIS Saturday, as we take on Leeds United at MATRADE Loftus Road, we are proud to host our Community
Day - a special occasion dedicated to celebrating the incredible work of our very own QPR in the Community
Trust and the wider community.
Honouring our Community Heroes
At half-time, we will celebrate incredible local Community Heroes for their outstanding contributions to our community.
This initiative highlights the year-round efforts of community staff and volunteers who make a real difference every day.
This year’s QPR Community Heroes are:
James Grant, Simon Lavall & Terry Millichope
James, Simon and Terry have played a key role in revitalising the matchday atmosphere at MATRADE Loftus Road
through their work with Loft Flags. Inspired by the need to restore the stadium’s vibrancy, they launched the 'Return
The Loft To Its Past Glory' group, successfully campaigning for the introduction of safe-standing areas.
Working alongside fellow supporters, they have helped create an incredible visual display at home matches, producing
14 large banners and 400 hand-waving flags. Their dedication and passion have ensured that QPR’s history, identity, and
fan culture remain at the heart of every game.
Steve Russell
Steve Russell has been a dedicated supporter of QPR and a key figure in raising funds for various club-related causes through
his Independent R’s pin badges. Over the years, Steve has produced more than 30 unique badge designs, with all profits supporting
initiatives such as the QPR Community Trust, the Tiger Cubs, QPR FC Women, and the No.10 Foundation. His fundraising efforts
have made a tangible impact, from donating £604 to the Tiger Cubs on the Trust’s 10th anniversary to raising vital funds for
Stan Bowles’ care.
Steve’s passion for QPR and his generosity continue to benefit the club and its community, making him a t
rue QPR community hero.
Ruby Polatin
A passionate QPR supporter and dedicated fundraiser, Ruby Polatin recently completed the Battersea Park Half Marathon to
raise vital funds for QPR in the Community Trust. Motivated by her love for the club and the positive impact of the Trust’s
initiatives on her family, Ruby has already raised an impressive £843. Her commitment to the cause reflects not only her
personal dedication but also the strong community spirit that surrounds QPR.
Beyond her marathon achievement,
Ruby is an active supporter of Rainbow Rangers, QPR’s LGBTQ+ group, and has a background in fundraising for prestigious
institutions like Tate Galleries and Cambridge University. Now working at the Harrow Development Trust, she continues to
champion community-driven causes. Originally from Massachusetts, Ruby has lived locally for over 15 years and is a proud
part of the QPR family.
Patricia Moorehead
Patricia Moorehead, an NHS community play specialist, has dedicated over 20 years to supporting young people and families
through challenging times. A passionate QPR supporter, she has gone above and beyond for both the club and her community,
from climbing Snowdon for charity to helping young patients create unforgettable memories, like Albie’s penalty at MATRADE
Loftus Road this season.
Patricia and her colleagues were also invited onto the pitch in 2022, where thousands of fans gave
them a standing ovation in recognition of their incredible work supporting vulnerable children. Through her partnerships with
QPR’s community team, Patricia continues to create lasting opportunities for young people and their families, ensuring they
have the support they need both during and after treatment.
Giancarlo Gaglione
Giancarlo Gaglione is the founder of the Mental Health World Cup, an annual charity football tournament which raises vital
funds for mental health initiatives. Following the loss of his brother Lanfranco to suicide in 2012, Giancarlo turned his grief
into action, using football as a platform to promote awareness and support for those struggling with mental health challenges.
Since partnering with QPR in the Community Trust in 2019, the tournament has been held at MATRADE Loftus Road, growing
significantly and raising over £200,000 last year alone for CALM, QPR’s mental health programmes, and other community initiatives.
Giancarlo, who works in the construction industry - where mental health struggles are alarmingly high - has been instrumental
in driving change both within his field and the wider footballing community. His work with QPR has helped develop workshops,
support groups, and outreach programmes that provide a safe space for people to talk and seek help.
Through his tireless efforts, Giancarlo has strengthened QPR’s commitment to mental health support, ensuring that football
continues to be a force for positive change.'
