From the Club....
'IT'S THE final international break of the 2024/25 season - and five QPR first-team players are jetting off to
represent their respective nations.
Jimmy Dunne is in line to earn his first senior cap for the Republic of Ireland after being called up to
Heimir Hallgrímsson's squad for a Nations League double-header versus Bulgaria (March 20th, Plovdiv and
March 23rd, Dublin).
Similarly, fellow defender Ronnie Edwards could win a maiden cap for England Under-21s after the Southampton
loanee was drafted into Lee Carsley's squad for fixtures against France (March 21st, Lorient) and Portugal
(March 24th, West Brom).
Spurs loanee Yang Min-Hyeok will be hoping to make it a hat-trick of firsts as he aims to make his senior debut for
South Korea, called up for World Cup qualifiers versus Oman (March 20th, Goyang and Jordan (March 25th, Suwon).
Meanwhile, Paul Smyth could be in friendly action for Northern Ireland, who face Switzerland in Belfast on March 21st
before travelling to face Sweden in Stockholm on March 25th.
Kenneth Paal is also on duty with his native Suriname, who have a Concacaf Gold Cup qualification double-header
against Martinique on March 21st, Paramaribo and March 25th, Fort-de-France.
Good luck to all our International R's.'
