A massive shout out to Shaun Derry today for going on live radio this morning and giving us, his version
of events regarding Cifuentes.
Derry said that Cifuentes had spoken to a number of clubs regarding managerial positions, so in fairness to
the hierarchy at QPR they had no choice but to place him on “garden leave”. His agent had no doubt been hawking
him around clubs, showing a serious lack of respect to QPR.
To think Cifuentes in his interview with Dave McIntyre at the weekend, had the audacity to start bigging up the
QPR fan base.
When all he was doing behind the scenes, was scheming to get another contract elsewhere. No wonder the season was
so poor, when the manager shows a serious lack of commitment and wants away.
Marti Cifuentes was a nobody when he walked through the door in W12, similar scenario to Beale and no doubt will end
the same way.
His lack of respect for QPR who gave him a wonderful opportunity in management, will no doubt disappoint the QPR fan
base and rightly so.
Sky Sports are reporting that WBA will not be appointing him as their new manager, which doesn’t surprise me as he is
obviously a devious and scheming individual who cannot be trusted.
Goodbye and good riddance to Marti Cifuentes, expect a hostile reception when you return to W12.

That, I suspect, was to get us on his side, when the news of his job-hunting came out.Tommy Cunningham wrote: ↑Wed Apr 30, 2025 9:50 am ......To think Cifuentes in his interview with Dave McIntyre at the weekend, had the audacity to start bigging up the

i.e., we'd blame the Board, CEO etc instead of Marti.

Massive opportunity here for Christian Nourry to communicate with the QPR support, if Cifuentes
was indeed speaking with other clubs then come out and tell us why you placed him on “Garden Leave”.
At this moment in time, neither Cifuentes or Nourry are onside with the fan base.
Extremely disappointing end to the season and this is off the park.

I understand that his representatives were in communication
with Leicester? Other Clubs?
If true, then it would have been before last Saturday

Re: Massive shout out to Shaun Derry today
What a toxic, utter shambles of a club QPR have become, and all this started long before Marti Cifuentes
came on the scene.
I just do not buy into all this sudden vitriol reigning down on Cifuentes head. He was the finest thing since sliced bread
with supporters a short while ago. Also this 'Massive Shout Out To Shaun Derry ' does not sit well with me.
If Shaun Derry was so in the know with regard to all of this, then why has his head suddenly appeared above the
parapet, and not sooner? Angling for a job, surely not.
The owners and the CEO Christian Nourry also have to be held accountable and not just Marti Cifuentes, after
all they have the ultimate responsibility of how the club is being run, and to the long suffering supporters who,
after all, are the lifeblood of any football club.
