Great news from the Club...

'QPR Development Squad will host Brentford B at MATRADE Loftus Road in the Premier League Cup final.
Following the Bees' 2-0 win over Southampton on Thursday evening, the draw was made on Friday to
determine where the final will be held - and it will be taking place in W12!

Paul Furlong’s youngsters secured their place in the final with a 2-0 victory over Burnley on Wednesday
night, with goals from Harry Murphy (pen) and Kieran Petrie.

Details regarding the fixture, including date and KO time, will be confirmed in due course.'

Just a wild theory from me on the Topic. Did Brentford actually win the toss for deciding the location
of the venue but instead of making a choice for a "home" fixture they opted for Loftus Rd instead?

Maybe their own stadium was unavailable and they did not want to play at Hanwell or some other non league
ground in the area.

After all at Loftus Rd there will be a much bigger crowd and better facilities and would prove
more cost effective for the Bees
