'Christian Nourry has been appointed to a new board advising the council on driving growth in
Hammersmith & Fulham.

The Upstream London Strategic Advisory Board’s purpose is to advise on how to bring investment and talent
to the borough, and ensure the subsequent growth in the local area generates benefits for all residents.

The QPR CEO will meet on a quarterly basis with fellow members of the board, which brings together academia,
business and local government.

Nourry said: “QPR has a fantastic reputation for being a football club which understands and values its role in
the community.

“As part of that, a close relationship with the council is crucial in order to identify mutually-beneficial ways to move
forward.

“I am honoured to be part of an exciting board which is eager to work together to benefit the surrounding area and
its inhabitants.

“From QPR’s point of view, we are keen to understand how we can invest to positively impact the borough.”

The board is convened by council leader Stephen Cowan, who said: “I’m really grateful to all the talented leaders from
business, academia and local government that have agreed to serve on the Upstream London Strategic Advisory Board.

“It is another demonstration of the crucial role local authorities can play in leading economic growth and shared prosperity for
residents through a culture of entrepreneurial municipal government.”
