'QPR have triggered an extension to Michael Frey’s contract which will see him remain with the club beyond the
end of the current campaign.

The 30-year-old striker, who joined QPR in January ’24, was the club’s top goalscorer this season.

During his time in W12, Frey has made 40 appearances in all competitions, scoring ten goals.

QPR CEO Christian Nourry said: “Michi has demonstrated this season that he is more than a handful for
Championship defences.

“Eighteen months into his time at QPR, we have watched him settle into London and this league.

“He is a player with immense determination and an infectious drive, and we appreciate all his efforts
so far.”
