From the Club....
'THE club can confirm Conor Clark, Samuel Manufor and Casey Shann will be leaving QPR when their
contracts expire at the end of June.
Meanwhile, eight players from our Under 18s group will also be departing.
Goalkeeper Clark, 19, joined the club at Under-16 level.
CEO Christian Nourry said: “Throughout his time with us, I understand Conor consistently balanced high-level
academic success alongside his football achievements.
“This season he gained senior exposure at non-league level which will help him with the next step of his journey.
“Everyone at the club wishes him well for the future.”
Manufor joined QPR at the age of 13. The 19-year-old defender made a significant contribution to the club’s
Development Squad this season in our Professional Development League campaign and our successful Premier League
Cup adventure.
In 2022, Manufor was part of the Team GB side that won bronze at the Maccabi Games.
Nourry said: “Sam has been a real leader in the dressing room, someone who drives high standards on and off the pitch.
“He operates in a thoroughly professional manner at all times and we wish him only the best for his future.”
Defender Shann, 21, joined QPR two years ago.
Nourry said: “We are grateful to Casey for all his efforts whilst at the football club. We are convinced that he has the
athletic and technical characteristics to have a successful career in the game, now it will be about putting it all together.”
From our Under 18s, Hassan Hamid, Kooshan Hayati, La’Trell Jones, Kemoko Keita-Turay, Callum Loades, Luka Radojevic,
Mehmet Recber and Lorenzo Strachan are also leaving the club.
Nourry added: “Decisions such as this are amongst the hardest ones to make for any football club. We are hugely grateful
to all of them for their efforts during their time with us.
“Some of these players have been with the club for a significant period of time which can make such decisions even
more challenging.
“However, it is made with not only the club’s best interests at heart, but also the players’.
“As part of our ongoing commitment, we will be assisting them in the next stages of their football journeys.
“They move on with our very best wishes.”
