Good luck to Hayley, such a great ambassador for our Club. Hope she will still be involved in
some capacity. From the Club:
'QPR FC Women would like to extend our deepest thanks to Hayley Peacock, who
departs the club this summer following ten outstanding years of service in W12.
A commanding presence on the pitch and a respected leader off it, Hayley has embodied everything
it means to represent QPR FC.
Joining the club nearly a decade ago, she has been a central figure in QPR FC Women’s progress during that
time – both as a player and as a person.
Whether marshalling the defence or leading from the front as club captain, Hayley’s contribution has been
immense.
She played a vital role in some of the club’s most memorable achievements, including our Capital Cup triumph
and consistent development within the FA Women’s National League.
Speaking on her departure, Hayley said: “It has been the greatest honour to have been able to represent QPR for
nearly 10 years.
“I still remember my first trial, heading over to Belgium to take part in my first pre-season tour! I never thought that,
in the years to come, I’d quite have so many memories and moments to be proud of."
“Being club captain for many years has been a true honour, and I want to thank Steve Quashie and all the staff for
trusting me with the armband each week. To retire at the club that trusted me with the captaincy for so long means a
lot to me.”
Hayley was presented with a framed QPR shirt to recognise her decade of service. The occasion also honoured long-time
teammate and close friend Kasha Petit, making the celebration even more meaningful.
“Having my time at the club recognised alongside club legend - and my close friend - Kasha Petit at Loftus Road was
emotional. Not only is Kasha someone who made me feel welcome from the moment I stepped foot into the training
ground, but she’s also an inspiration to me and to so many others.
"I have always looked up to Kasha – her loyalty to the club and how much she has given to QPR on and off the pitch.
To have our time recognised together was incredibly special, and I’d like to thank the club again for it.”
Hayley’s impact extended beyond the pitch – she was previously recognised as the club’s PFA Community Champion,
reflecting her tireless efforts to support QPR in the Community Trust and inspire those around her. She leaves the
playing squad but remains an active figure within the club.
“I’ve created some wonderful memories with my teammates over the years and I look forward to watching these
incredible women make history.
Thank you to everyone who has been part of this club, from past to present, for making this club great – and a special
thank you to all the staff and all my friends that have stuck by my side through all the highs and lows.
“To all the fans that come to support us – you mean so much, and make this club great.
Thank you for all the love you’ve shown. I look forward to joining you as a fan as I cheer on the team in this exciting
new chapter!”
Will Lambert, Head of Women’s Operations, added: “Hayley has exemplified the values of what it means to be a player
of Queens Park Rangers Football Club, through her immense commitment and dedication.
"Hayley will be missed as an influential figure of the team, but we reflect on her time proudly. We wish Hayley the very
best moving forward, and I am sure she will stay a familiar face to the club.”
Everyone at QPR thanks Hayley for her exceptional contributions across ten memorable years. Her loyalty, leadership
and love for the badge have left a lasting legacy – and we look forward to seeing her continue to play a key role in
QPR FC Women’s future.''
