'ZIYAD Larkeche has signed a new contract with QPR.

The 22-year-old left-back joined Rangers from Fulham in mid-2023 after spending two years in our west London
neighbours’ academy.

Prior to that, the Frenchman learned his trade with Paris Saint-Germain. He has made 22 first-team appearances for
the R’s so far, scoring once, and spent last season on loan at Dundee in the Scottish Premiership – making 31 appearances,
scoring three times and also weighing in with five assists.

As he looks to nail down a place in QPR’s starting XI this season under new head coach Julien Stéphan,
Larkeche told us: "This feels amazing, I'm really happy to continue my story with QPR.

"Last season was definitely a great experience for me. I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone at Dundee, they
gave me the opportunity to play almost every game except for the injury I had in the middle of the season.

"Playing week in, week out when you're still a young player is key, and I think that helped me develop a lot. It was an
experience I have taken a lot of positives from.

"I want to keep working and keep improving. I could have stayed at QPR last year but I went there (Dundee) to challenge
myself and to test myself. For me, that was really important.

"Now I'm really excited about the season ahead - I'm really motivated. I want to impress in every training session and every
game."

Ziyad added: "I really enjoy being a QPR player - I really like the atmosphere.

"It's a really special place, not just for me, but for my family and the people around me.

"There's a really good atmosphere, and I believe that this year we will be ambitious and believe in ourselves. It starts from
every training session and we have to work hard."

QPR CEO Christian Nourry commented: "Ziyad had a very strong year at Dundee where he was able to further hone his craft
as a left-back in a back four, which previously wasn't afforded to him in his loan spell before joining us at Barnsley.

"We are excited to give him every opportunity to make the step up in our setup this season."
