'SCOTT Marshall has joined Reading following agreement between the two clubs to acquire the QPR
academy coach's services.

Marshall - who has been working predominately with our Under-18s - moves to become assistant first-team manager
with the Sky Bet League One side.

The 52-year-old has been in his second spell with Rangers' academy after rejoining the club in mid-2024.

He returns to Reading after working as the Royals' Under-23s manager for three years, between 2017-2020, in a spell
that also included time as caretaker manager of the first team.

Marshall represented Arsenal among other teams during his playing career, and has gone on to become a well-respected
coach following spells with the likes of Norwich City and Aston Villa.

QPR CEO Christian Nourry said: "It has been a pleasure working with Scott over the last year. He's brought great energy
and experience to our U18s coaching setup and was set to do the same for our Development Squad during this campaign.

"However, we fully understand his desire to reintegrate into a senior first team coaching staff and wish him well at
Reading."
