Good luck to him.
From the Club...
'QPR have completed the permanent signing of Christian Pullella from Perth Glory.
The defender has joined the club for an undisclosed fee and will initially link up with
the Development Squad.
Pullella, who spent five years with Glory and has made four appearances for Australia U17s
to date, said: “I'm feeling great.
“I'm just happy to get everything signed and be part of QPR. As soon as I heard they were
interested, it was a yes from me, 100 percent.”
Fellow Aussies - and former Glory players - Daniel Bennie and Jaylan Pearman have already
made the move to W12, and Pullella admits he has been in touch with the pair.
“They both messaged me prior to coming,” he said. “They’ve had nothing but positive things
to say about everyone here, so it’s really exciting to be part of it.
“I think the club's putting a lot of priority into the youth, their academy and the training facilities.
“They've also announced they're applying for Category 1 status, so they obviously value their
academy very highly.”
An attack-minded left-back, Pullella admitted: “My first target is getting out on the pitch,
and I just can’t wait to get started.”
CEO Christian Nourry said: “Christian has performed well for the Australia youth national team
over the last 18 months and brings a balanced full-back profile to the Development Squad with
the athletic potential to have a successful professional football career.”
