But the club have offered a new contract to Albert Adomah, this is a player approaching 35 years of age.
For a club preaching about developing young home grown talent, how on earth is this the way forward.
Barbet should have been offered a new contract at QPR, he served us well in his 3 seasons at the club.
Maybe he didn’t get on with the right people at the club.

Tommy, reading the article it seems he was offered a new contract, he just didn't accept it.

Agree Steve I did read that Barbet couldn’t agree terms on a new deal, which of course is the man’s prerogative.
It just seems very strange to me, that we offer a player approaching 35 years old a new contract.
I do not like the way the club operates these days, next season could be a real struggle in my opinion.
Time will tell.

Well, I thought Albert played well, and even at the last game still looked fresh & fit.
So, if it's not too long a contract, may well work out.

Uncle Albert always gives a big lift to the crowd when he comes on.
Thought it was ridiculous playing him as a wing-back, but I would love to see
him in the squad for one more season....
