My thanks to Bill Purcell who posted this on the Indy's Facebook group....
'Afternoon Steve, the lads had an excellent tournament & went to top
both the mini-leagues.
One also had FC Twente, Royal Antwerp & Borussia MG,
The other included Wolfsburg, Magdeburg & JSG Hollage
.
Lost 0-1 in the semi-final to TSV 1860 Munich, who then played in the final
v FC Union Berlin. 1-1 ft. Union Berlin side won 5-4 on pens.
We won 3rd place play-off v FC Twente, 1-1 ft then 4-3 on pens.
My grandson Freddie Hall played today. He got a dead leg yesterday so the physio must
have worked his magic.
The lads & coaches are so lovely, there working hard, all the best to them all & all the
parents.
As you know Steve, its a real team effort.
All the best.
Bill'
