Last Night v Forest....

Some thoughts from last night's U23's cup tie v Forest at Alfreton Town....
Surprised but pleased to see Jordy De Wijs in the starting line-up. Had a steady 45 mins & scored with a header at the far post.
Hamzad Kargbo had his best game that I've seen at this level, got booked again but apart from his goal, he was constantly winning knock-on headers & headed one off the line.
Big fan of Joseph Ajose, & he had another vg game.
Good to see 17-year-old defender Samuel Bagan come on after the break.
MOM Harry Halwax....made more than half a dozen superb saves, incl. a double plus the penalty save.
Looked like it was heading for a draw but Forest broke away & scored the winner in the 88th minute. Halwax got a hand to the ball but just couldn't keep it out. Have to say Forest were the better side in the 2nd half...
