Hmmm.... not sure about this.
On the one hand, he's a bit "Route 1" but on the other hand, he'd give our team of
prima donnas the kick up their collective backside that they need so badly.

And he may know some good lower league prospects who don’t mind earning their salaries.
My only problem is I don’t want him to fail

Let’s be brutally honest here, the vast majority of supporters loved him as a player and personality at QPR.

My advice to Gareth Ainsworth would be, give this position a wide berth if offered to you.

No manager has any chance of succeeding, whilst the club is run by its present incumbents.

Stay where you are Gareth.

Gareth Ainsworth has done a truly fantastic job at Wycombe on a shoestring budget.
Not even two halfpennies to rub together there!

He is well liked by his fellow professionals and as a player and later coach at QPR FC
did really well. He got a club like Wycombe into the Championship and they
were very unlucky to get relegated...Wycombe are now once again currently in the
running for promotion to the Championship.

I think he was under the QPR Radar when there were opportunities to get him on board before....
plus the thinking that he was not quite sophisticated enough to get us promoted to the
premier League....but these days we are not looking towards Premier league status are we?

I reckon there is almost a "job for life" for him at Wycombe if he wants it. You have to wonder why
would he consider a move to Loftus Rd during the present turmoil

I asked a WWFC-supporting friend what he thought of Gaz joining us;
he said not to expect an overnight improvement, that's not his style - he likes to build things up gradually.
He also said he'd heard a rumour that Gaz & Sir Les don't get on, so if true that could well be a problem.
