Got to the ground early to knock out my new badge and saw
Gerry Francis, Devon White, Maurice Doyle, Rufus Brevett etc etc
walk up.

Good support in the early stages, but as Preston took control the atmosphere
became more tense.

After Preston had hit the post, Ilias belted upfield & facing the keeper, he somehow
shot wide of the far post.

We were very fortunate to go in at ht 0-0 but in reality we could well have
been 2/3 down!!!

I try to have a balanced view, look for positives, but its just a continuation of Wigan
on Saturday & most games prior to that.

It got even worse after the break, giving the ball away & virtually no movement.
One shot on target. At Wigan we had three, but only one that troubled the keeper.

There was a chant aimed at Les Ferdinand. Was he there today?

Gerry must have been as shocked as we were

Deafening silence again from The Board. Do any attend matches?
They are obviously happy to continue supporting us financially in our pathetic attempt
to stay in this league and the so called professionals they pay are happy to take
the money for in the main little effort.

If the Board and players don’t care why should the fans? But we do as fans.
We stay the inept players come and go, in the main with this squad, soon to be forgotten.

You’re not fit to wear the shirt should be sung permanently in matches as then the so
called professional players might get the message we care even if they don’t.

If only Chair had put that chance away, the game would
have been a lot different.

Some disgusting sights & sounds when the score went 2-nil; booing, chants
of "F*** off Les Ferdinand," even fights in the stands - Ranger v Ranger.
I walked out 10 mins before the end, in disgust - at some of my fellow fans.

When Gerry said "Get behind the team" at half time, everybody was cheering;
30 mins later they were jeering.

Get behind the team? Yeah, to stab them in the back.

We'll support you ever more - or just until the 2nd goal goes in??
