Delighted to see that Leyton Orient were promoted from Division 2 last night,
ex QPR CEO Mark Devlin has been CEO there for some time now.
As many people will know Mark Devlin was CEO at QPR many years ago, until
the Italian revolution decided to vote him out when the circus came to town.
If anyone has any doubts about this man’s capabilities, take a look at what he
achieved in 8 years at the football club under the M4 bus stop.
A new stadium was built during his time there, they are also establishing themselves
firmly as an EPL football club.
Now his current employer has benefited from his knowledge and experience.
Unfortunately the same can’t be said for the current QPR CEO, who after a heated
conversation with a QPR fan over the weekend felt it appropriate to give the fan
the middle finger.
Admittedly the fan could have handled the situation better,
but as a QPR supporter I expect far better behaviour from the CEO of
Queen’s Park Rangers Football Club.
Unfortunately our football club is rotten to the core, a disinterested board, a
CEO and DOF out of their depth, an awful youth system and scouting network and
a squad full of substandard footballers.
These are desperate times for our club.

Re: Congratulations Mark Devlin
About.....
'Delighted to join a progressive London Club, with an ambitious board
and a rich heritage, after enjoying two years as CEO at Huddersfield Town.
At Huddersfield, i joined a club on the down slope after relegation from the PL.
Fortunate to inherit a great set of staff and able to recruit some very skilled and
positive new additions.
Led the Club through a crippling pandemic and leave it in a very positive position
off the field and in a play off place. I have over 20 years of successful experience
and a proven track record in high profile roles within the Sports Sector.
I have also had the pleasure of serving on the EFL Commercial Committee
(as a representative of Championship clubs) between 2014-2018.
I have breadth of experience covering:
- Senior C- Suite Leadership
- Change Management
- Sales/Marketing
- PR
- Finance
- Operations
- Contract negotiation
- New Stadium/venue planning and implementation
- Youth and Academy'
And an R's fan.....
Well done Devo....

Re: Congratulations Mark Devlin
Agree with you 100% Mr Kerrins he was very good for QPR, very likable,
very approachable and always very honest with supporters.
No doubt he would had his moments with difficult supporters,
I don’t ever recall him giving a QPR fan the middle finger though.
But as we all know the employees of QPR these days, are really not that professional
or successful at what they do.

He was, indeed, a local lad; I've just noticed - & this will be of interest to ESSEX -
that he went to St. Clement Danes (as did Colin & I).
ESSEX, I suggest you check out the Burlington & Clement Danes Facebook group,
it's full of memories of our old school.
Re: Congratulations Mark Devlin
Amusing comment by the boy Zico many moons ago when Mark was at QPR FC.
He advised Mark to ditch the new specs because it made him look like Clark Kent
We could certainly do with a "Superman" at the CEO helm now!
