Neil Southey I met him too at his new flat in Reading and he was full of stories about
the R's
When he went to Rangers he asked Mr Stock if he could get the new white football
that all the other clubs had Mr stock said the club could not afford one.
The next game Roy said there was a white ball by his locker as he was captain he picked
it up and it was wet white paint Roy gave it to the ref and smiled a him and asked if he
had painted it he said no ask Mr Stock!
I have not heard that particular Roy Bentley story before
