Another extremely poor performance today

Post by Tommy Cunningham »

For the 12th occasion this season we suffer another home league defeat,
the only positive we can take from that game is we can’t suffer anymore of this dross
until August.

i hope all the loan players return to their parent clubs, I also hope that there is a clear out
of the remaining players contracted to QPR. To say this season was challenging would
be a massive understatement.

Gareth Ainsworth has gone on record saying he knows the changes that need to be made
at QPR, whether he will be given carte blanche to do so I have my doubts.

Until our club is rid of Lee Hoos, Les Ferdinand and his cohorts we will continue to struggle.
There 8 years at QPR has seen no progress made, a ridiculous turnover of managers and players
and absolutely no outstanding talent brought to the club.

This season has seen the worst squad of players I can ever remember assembled at QPR, Ferdinand
and Beale were responsible for this and although Beale jumped ship his involvement should
not be forgotten.

Big changes need to be made at QPR now, let the manager recruit his own players and give the
man a chance. One thing is for certain though, Gareth Ainsworth won’t make as many mistakes
as Hoos and Ferdinand have in the last 8 years.

To put it simply, we let Bristol have too many easy chances - which they took
but we wasted our own chances. A recipe for defeat.
I thought they were a bunch of dirty divers & never looked much more than a half-decent, mid-table team;
these are the teams we have to beat, to progress. But it seems we can't.
Looking forward to a clear-out & a re-build.

Mind you, on the positive side, I bought a nice new baseball cap from the stall in S.A. Rd. - has the classic
70s Club crest on it.
So the trip wasn't a complete waste of time.....
8-)
