Totally confused by the signing of Leon Balogun, a 34 year old player without a club
since being released by his previous club last summer.
He is a central defender a position where we have Dickie, Dunne, Clarke-Salter, Masterson
and Gubbins, all players nearly 10 years or more younger than Balogun.
We have been told so often that the club, are looking to develop their own talent.
Bringing 34 year old players in on free transfers, is not the way forward in my opinion.
They are free transfers for a reason, there were no takers for him until now.
It certainly appears to me that the people running the club, don’t really believe the
developing their own talent comments.
