Clear run up the motorway, stopped off at the Warwick Services
& the weather seemed to change every 5 minutes.
Think we sold around 1,100 tickets in advance & when
I arrived there was a good queue at the away fans ticket office.
Francis Peacock was selling his highly recommended book until
a steward stooped him! Didn't see much of the proposed protest from
the home fans?
West Brom did most of their attacking down one flank & they
scored those two goals inside 14 minutes. One of which was hand
assisisted!!
Just when you thought that we could be on the end of a spanking,
Ilias put over a delicious ball from the right for Lyndon to head home.
We superbly soaked up a lot of pressure in the 2nd half, numerous
corners & then got the equaliser through pure determination.
There was a blatant hand-ball in the box which was ignored & I
was right behind our two efforts that seemed to curl
away at the last moment.
Fantastic support from the R's fans & great celebrations at the final
whistle.
Re: West Brom Yesterday....
Pride and fighting spirit back on the agenda and about time too.
Vital point and other results went our way. Still plenty to do to avoid the drop.
