After a very, very brief assertive start, Blackburn, took control.
Despite having a number of players missing, they had a game plan &
It soon became clear that we didn't!

We didn't look like a team but a side made up of individual players making
so many mistakes!

Lack of movement, giving the ball away, poor crosses & free kicks continued
throughout the game. Long ball at times & the defence fell apart.

GA had said at his arrival that he would change tactics when necessary but there
was no evidence of that whatsoever.

The fans have generally stuck with him but yesterday showed that we are
falling apart & going backwards, and getting a record we didn't want

Kerrins and I attended yesterday but please don’t blame us!
That word change doesn’t seem to be in Ainsworth’s vocabulary. He hasn’t changed one thing
other than we now don’t look like scoring.

Hoof it up to Armstrong who is usually offside (please someone explain the offside rule) or he’s easily
taken out by several defenders who have nothing else to do as nobody has kept up with Armstrong.
And that is mainly it.

Where is the pass and move play on the ground?

Why no change in tactics when we go behind. When Blackburn scored a note was passed onto the field
to reorganise the team. What changed for us?

Why delay the subs until it is all over. Kolli could have had far more game time.

It was obvious watching Blackburn on Sky recently they get four or five players forward very quickly for
each attack. It was stallions against cart horses in that department.
Surely GA knew that and could have planned accordingly.

A truly awful performance and an embarrassing spectacle for our halftime paraded team.

Shocker of a game.

The amount of backpassing when we had chances to go forward was very disappointing.

The failure to shut down Blackburn attacks early was hard to watch. At times, everyone backing
off the ball and allowing the player in possession to stroll on unapproved- just attempting to cut off
the anticipated pass with no tackle made.

The lack of any semblance of a fightback did not resonate with the mementoes of Ainsworth’s never-say-die
playing days. There was very little -if any - leadership on the pitch.

Sinclair needs to receive balls onto runs. Getting the ball standing static with his back to goal and a
defender attached to his rear isn’t getting us anywhere.

Once the match outcome had gone to hell in a handcart, there still wasn’t a feeling that the team were
responding for pride’s sake alone.

Leaving LR and journeying to the tube to the sound of Blackburn songs rather than the sound of Hoops fans
with nothing to get noisy about is not part of the matchday experience that we want.

Plodding around, hands on hips, second to the ball, no evidence of working to a plan, the absence of energy,
the lack of determination to find a way. At home and in front of our own crowd, we provided Blackburn with
little more than a training match.

Great to connect with Steve pre-game for a good chat and an example of passion and commitment to QPR
that our playing staff could do well to follow.

Things are looking bleak.
We haven't won a home game yet, and the only other team that hasn't is bottom of the table.
Our poor points tally is relegation form.

It was good to meet up with Steve R Colin W at the match on Saturday. The best part of the day!

Post match I found myself looking at a much bigger picture. Lets leave aside the many defensive
howlers that could have seen us beat 7-0 instead of 4-0 Blackburn's Standard of Football was light years
ahead of our Philistine hoof and hope style.

Even if by some major miracle Blackburn had missed all their chances and the result ended up 0-0 you can't
hide the fact that their superior quality football was on a different planet to ours.

Honestly I have seen teams in league One and Two serve up more Class and Precision Passing and pass and
move than our lot this season. Ale house soccer

Indeed very true Young Kerrins.
The thing that worries me is the deafening silence from the Board direction.
Do they actually follow our progress or should I say lack of and do they care we are going down
not even fighting.
It is more than obvious that GA has lost the majority of the players insisting upon playing a style of
football that is alien to our DNA.
If change on the field was coming it would have happened long before now as we lurch from bad to worse.
