After many years of poor decisions at boardroom level, poor managerial appointments, an appalling DOF
for an 8 year period.
The club appears to be moving forward in many ways, a sell out Loftus Road for a preseason friendly is testament
to that. I know it was top opposition in Tottenham, but it is great for our club to have friendly games like this preseason.
Brighton at home is another game that will attract a really good attendance, another chance for QPR supporters to watch
our club playing against top opposition again.
We have a very good young manager in Marti Cifuentes, who has a game plan and a clear idea of how he wants his team to play.
We have a CEO who has displayed a no nonsense approach, with players and their contracts recently.
Massive respect to Christian Nourry for not being held to ransom, when negotiating the contracts of Chris Willock and
Sinclair Armstrong recently. Theses players are not top class and never will be, reading his comments when they both departed
he didn’t seem too disappointed.
We have signed some good young players and only time will tell if they are good enough, but I like the way the club is being run
these days. Gone are the days of jobs for the boys and players being signed to top up their pensions.
Long may these positives continue.
