Taxi for Marti Cifuentes and Christian Nourry

Post by Tommy Cunningham »

This morning there can be no reason for the board to retain the services of this manager any longer, we are a
sinking ship with a clueless and tactically inept manager and the most substandard squad of players ever assembled
at QPR.

Last night was the final straw for me, no gameplan, no hope of scoring any goals, but the most alarming thing for me
is we can’t stop leaking goals.

The team don’t appear to be organized, they don’t appear to be a team that is a well coached unit and we are getting
worse by the week.

Christian Nourry and Marti Cifuentes took all the plaudits when we avoided relegation last season, that was last season
but since then the decline has been alarming to say the least.

I said it at the time that to extend Cifuentes contract was madness, yet our 26 year old CEO Christian Nourry went ahead
and extended his contract. He showed his lack of experience in professional football and we are now seeing the results.

Jake Clarke-Salter is another sick note, always injured and never available. Yet our CEO decided to also extend his contract.

The performances of Cifuentes and Nourry this season have been disastrous, at a majority of other football clubs they would
have been shown the door by now.

We are in free fall and it looks like an impossible task to avoid relegation.

We seem to play like the away side home and away with limited support for the front man (Celar) who quite
frankly wastes a position.

The time we waste faffing around at the back and midfield is unbelievable and then when we do reach the opposition
box they have settled and can easily defend. Boro are not world beaters but they always seemed to get more player in
and around our box and passed their way through our mainly static defence. Do we not practice how to play on the break
or cut through defences?

I know we have injuries but it goes beyond individuals with the system being at fault. You need to impose yourself in the
Championship and press teams. These are alien factors to us.
