QPR 4 Derby County 0

Post by Kerrins »

Hooray we put on our shooting boots at Last. Well done the team. Keep it up

It is vital that we take our chances up front especially so if we have aspirations to finish in the top six(still a long shot this)

A great result, and one that should shut the moaners up - at least, for now ;)
I just wish bloody Sky hadn't robbed the game, or I'd have been there;
but Loftus Road on a cold winter's night, is (as I always say) no country for old men.

A cautious start, a bit 'slow, slow, quick, quick, slow'

But Ilias had his shooting boots on, first shot at goal
& what a goal :D

Michael Frey almost, almost bettered it after, what a goal
that would have been!!!

Koko Saito took his close range goal really well.

Dave Thomas came on at ht & at one point he broke down when
he was speaking

Into the 2nd half & we began to smell blood & were then rampant
& could well have scored more.

A vast range of songs rang out, including:

'You Should Have Stayed at the Blackburn'

'Sacked In The Morning'

And when news came through it was a few renditions of
'Singing the Blues'.

Although Derby were poor that's not really the point. We were clinical up front
and that's what matters.

Obviously we can not expect to score 4 goals every game but improving our ratio of goals
scored to chances created is a massive positive step in the right direction
