QPR development squad are in the semi final of the
London Senior Cup having despatched AFC Wimbledon
4-0 at Hanwell Towns ground this evening.
The score flattered the Dons with Rangers having 11 shots
in the first half alone.
The first attempt came on 16 seconds when Philip Sanyaolu
had a near post effort turned round the post for the first of
15 corners. Somehow it was 0-0 at half time.
Within 8 minutes of the restart Jaylan Pearman went around
the keeper and tapped into an empty net for his first goal of
a hat trick. He then scored on 70 & 76 minutes.
In between those two goals Archie O’Brien scored the best goal
of the game on 72 minutes with a 25 yard screamer.
It could easily have been 8 or 9 goals with the Dons keeper making
some great stops. Well done the whole team.
We play Cheshunt at home in our semi final while Dulwich Hamlet
host Leyton Orient in the other game. The final will be played at
Dulwich Hamlet.'
