Pumping up the ball to Dykes was ineffective again & the absence of a
partner upfront isn't doing anyone any favours.

In the 2nd half after the ball had been unsuccessfully knocked across the box
beyond his reach & he then turned round looking for support & gestured as if to say:
"Why am I the only one in the box"

There weren't even any strikers on the bench

How easily Luton were able to cut through our midfield at will

Just over 16,000 in attendance but the atmosphere became very flat & many
left when the 3rd goal went in.

Good observation Steve R and fair comment.

Here's a thought though...Perhaps our new manager has decided what's the
point of putting rubbish strikers on the bench they wont do anything if and when
they come on.

Also he may be thinking to himself jeez Dykes is pants but I have no choice but
to play him!

All we can do to improve matters at the moment is to get better organised and play
both Willock and Chair when fully fit on form and motivated.

We remain stuck with a batch of dross strikers on the clubs books and it appears that
situation is not going away anytime soon.

One of the reasons I am going to the Cup tie at Fleetwood against a lower league team
is that I might see us...just might... score a goal!

Well, too early for Rayan Kolli but I would definitely involve Sinclair Armstrong.

You managed to get a Fleetwood ticket ok then Bernard?

Steve R. Big Gamble for Kohli up front and sure probably too early for him.....but
desperate times call for desperate measures

At this very point in time we seem to be making no move whatsoever to sign
a striker
